Family and friends gathered on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 to celebrate the marriage of the happy couple, Robin Bean and David Dupree. The winter wonderland themed reception was held at the majestic Arbor Ballroom in Washington, DC, and included white and soft blue accents. The elegant winter plated dinner consisted of exciting New Orleans style hors d’oeuvres including BBQ Shrimp, Bourbon-Glazed Chicken Skewers and Wild Mushroom Douxelles.

The dual entrée that ‘wowed’ guests was a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with a Crispy Sweet Potato Nest, paired with Apple Stuffed Cornish Hens wrapped in Bacon with Applejack Gravy. All entrees were served with delectable Garlic Mashed Potatoes and a Roasted Root Vegetable Medley. Family and friends danced long into the evening in celebration of the, now, Mr. and Mrs. Dupree.

Mrs. Dupree added, “Several guests at the wedding complemented the food & asked for the contact information for Basikneads. Additionally, my husband and I personally enjoyed the food and personal touch from Basikneads and its staff.”
